The purpose of the Town of Highlands Chamber of Commerce is to have all of our activities and actions based on goals that will help to foster cooperation, education, and growth; thus benefiting not only our local businesses/organizations but also help keep the community on an incline for economic growth and development.
Building our town, to which residents, visitors and investors are attracted to, which is our beautiful and historic Town of Highlands. Our Chamber communities are Fort Montgomery, Highland Falls, West Point Military Base/Academy and Bear Mountain.
We want to always support and promote our communities, through the common economic interests of all our commercial enterprises and to enhance the business/organization environments. Striving to ensure future prosperity via a pro-business climate of growth, sharing and advertising our members on our website, utilizing social media, print, having a presence at local events, and to encourage the use of goods and services that our local businesses/organizations provide.
Representing a unified voice of our members, by attempting to influence and advocate to our local legislation germane to the common business interests of our members.
Helping to reduce transactional friction through well-functioning networks, by promoting higher business standards and encouraging uniformity and cooperation. We accomplish this by furnishing information, up-to-date and specialized individual services to our members, utilizing publications and other means to affect our community’s economics while advancing it, and making it easier for our local business members to have the help they need to start, grow and sustain their businesses/organizations in our historic town.
